Kids Birthday Party
This weekend I went to a kid’s birthday party. Nothing too special, right? Wrong!
+ Guests of honor are twins
+ They turned the mature age of 3
+ My oldest child is almost 21 and my youngest 10
+ I haven’t been to a toddler party in 7 years
+ The decor at the house was amazing
I love kid birthday parties because the colors, animation, and activity. The kids run around and play; happy and joyful.
I especially like kids parties now because my kids are much older so I can enjoy the party. In our family, wine and good food are always served for the adults. Yup, no punch or pretzels for us. The kids eat carrots and broccoli with ranch dip. The adults eat gourmet.
The party guests included grandparents, great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Yet another opportunity for a family gathering to celebrate two of our own.
The house decor fascinated me. My husband’s cousin and his wife are artists. They are very creative people. I am not. So, of course, the robots in the family room and the succulents on the kitchen counter caught my attention.
An inspiration to create terrariums burst forth from enjoying the beautiful succulent scape. The robots were simply amazing! They were scattered throughout the room; on the floor, table, and counters; in clusters and single. I loved their creativity and character.
I’ll have to work on the terrariums and share with you in the coming weeks. I hope you enjoy your next kids party too!
