My husband and I celebrated 23 years of marriage yesterday with a Napa Valley Anniversary Vacation.
We decided we deserved a little pampering after 23 years! (Note: this is NOT a sponsored or affiliate post. I have received no compensation for any services, etc.)
We indulged in the luxury of The Meritage Resort and Spa, staying at the Vino Bello Resort (the timeshare division we belong to). To say the resort is luxurious is an understatement! The facilities are beautiful and amenities are fabulous.
Napa Valley Anniversary Vacation
Day One We arrived to a 3rd floor suite. Yes, suite! The room included a very large bathroom with massage jet shower, jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom with a large, king-size bed and flat screen television. Our room also included a full kitchen (with dishwasher and oven), granite counter tops, large family size dining table, full couch, fireplace, comfy chairs, and another flat screen television. Not to forget the large balcony with a lovely iron table four chairs. This suite is probably larger than my first apartment!
After checking in and unpacking we decided to visit the Napa Valley Factory Outlets and proceeded to shop our little hearts out. Famished from all the retail therapy, we finished our evening with a magnificent dinner at Cole’s Chop House . My husband had an amazing black and blue New York steak while I enjoyed succulent scallops with corn, bacon, and potatoes. A photo of my salad is below in the gallery.
Day Three we played it low. Waking up late, packing, and taking a little walk about downtown Napa.
It is going to be so hard to return to the grind of early rising for school, homework, sports, work, and chores after this incredible Napa Valley Anniversary Vacation. We can’t complain really because this weekend has proven a wonderful blessing and rejuvenating retreat. I miss the kids and Gracie the pup too!
